Thanks for joining us for the event of the year!
On Saturday, February 27th the PTA held its annual fundraising dinner, the Tiger Gala. Guests got gussied up in Roaring 20s theme costume! It was a spectacular evening with music from the San Jose Youth Symphony String Quartet and dancing to the tunes played by the Groove Kings. Throughout the evening, attendees bid on over 400 items through both silent and live auctions. Items for bid ranged from gift packages for local WG merchants to top-of-the-line wine tasting events, weekends away, bicycles, and more. For the Lucky Kid Lotto portion of the event, teachers raffled their time to teach Salsa dancing classes, kayaking, lunch or movie dates, and trips to the local library or bookstore for the lucky winner. Principal Al Rossell donated a BBQ/swim party for 10 lucky winners and their friends! In the end the PTA netted $41,000 for their most successful fundraiser event to date. A huge thanks to all who donated and attended!
